DIY Vacation Souvenir in a Jar

Did your last vacation just end, or was it a while ago? We have a great idea for bringing that vacation vibe into your living room. With this DIY project, you can showcase your favorite mementos from your last vacation - and it’s super easy.

Little Jars of Vacation Memories

You'll need the following materials:

Empty Alete jars
Vacation photos
Sand
Souvenirs from your vacation (e.g., seashells or stones)
Scissors
Glue

Craft Instructions

Here's how it works:

Remove the Alete label with hot water
Trim the photo to size (about 10 x 7 cm, depending on the jar)
Place the photo in the jar, fill it with sand, and decorate it with your vacation memories
Trace the outline of the lid onto a second photo, cut it out, and glue the cutout to the top of the lid
