DIY Snow Globe
Do you still have a few empty Alete jars lying around at home? Perfect. Then use them to make your own little winter wonderland for your home. ❄️
Here's what you'll need to make your own snow globe
You'll need the following materials:
- Empty Alete jar
- Decorative snow or glitter
- Distilled water
- Baby oil
- Figure(s) of your choice
- A hot glue gun
Craft Instructions
Here's how it works:
- Remove the Alete label with hot water
- Use a hot glue gun to attach your figure(s) to the inside of the lid
- Sprinkle the decorative snow/glitter into the jar and fill it with distilled water and a few drops of baby oil so the snow sinks more slowly
- Now apply glue to the inside of the lid (all the way around the edge) and screw the lid onto the jar
- Next, secure the lid to the jar by running the hot glue gun along the outside of the jar. This ensures the liquid stays inside the jar. You can also attach a decorative ribbon to the jar while you’re at it
