DIY Snowman Lights
Are you a big fan of snowmen, too? Then we have a great DIY idea for you that will let you whip up a festive, glowing winter decoration in no time.
DIY Winter Decorations
You'll need the following materials:
- Empty Alete jars
- Scissors
- Paintbrush
- Circle punch (if available)
- Tissue paper (white, orange)
- Black construction paper
- Matte black acrylic spray paint
- Liquid glue
- Decorative ribbon
- LED tea light
Craft Instructions
Here's how it works:
- Remove the Alete label with hot water
- Spray the lid with black paint and let it dry thoroughly
- Tear white tissue paper into small pieces and cut small triangles out of the orange tissue paper for the noses
- Punch or cut out circles of two different sizes from the black construction paper
- Brush the glass with liquid glue and stick the white tissue paper pieces onto the glass
- Attach the eyes, mouth, and nose to the glass with liquid glue as well
- Wrap a decorative ribbon around the neck of the glass (secure with glue if necessary)
- Place an LED tea light inside the glass
