A Simple Recipe for a Delicious Easter Dessert in a Glass

You'll need the following ingredients:

  • Alete fruit jars of your choice
  • 150 g low-fat heavy cream
  • ½ packet of whipped cream stabilizer
  • ½ packet vanilla sugar (or a pinch of ground vanilla)
  • 175 g low-fat quark
  • 85 g low-fat plain yogurt (e.g., 1.5% fat)
  • 50 g low-fat sour cream
  • 30 g sugar (optional: substitute with natural sweeteners, such as honey or maple syrup)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (or real vanilla)
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • Alete Kinderkeks as “bunny ears”

Here's how it works:

  • Whip the low-fat cream with whipping cream stabilizer and vanilla sugar until stiff peaks form
  • In a separate bowl, combine low-fat quark, low-fat plain yogurt, reduced-fat sour cream, sugar (or an alternative sweetener), vanilla extract and lemon zest until a smooth mixture forms
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the quark-yogurt mixture until everything is well combined
  • Chill the cream in the refrigerator for a while to firm it up slightly
  • Layer the dessert: quark cream – Alete fruit puree – quark cream (you can also layer it directly into the Alete jars)
  • For decoration: Use cookies as bunny ears. Alternative decorations of your choice (sugar eyes, etc.)
