DIY Supplies for Glittery Easter Eggs
You'll need the following ingredients:
- 6 size "M" eggs
- 600 ml grape juice
- 150 g sugar
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- blue food coloring
Also, for cooking utensils
- 1 large pot
1 ladle
Instructions
Here's how:
- Pour the grape juice, sugar, vinegar and a few drops of food coloring of your choice into a pot and stir well.
- Carefully place the white eggs at room temperature into the cold mixture. Do not pierce the eggs so that the juice doesn’t seep into them.
- Place the pot on the stove and bring the mixture to a boil. Boil for about 10 minutes until the eggs are hard-boiled.
- Then remove the pot from the stove and let the eggs soak in the liquid for at least 12 hours. This is how the magical glitter coating forms!
- Remove the eggs from the pot with tongs or a spoon and place them on a kitchen towel. Let them dry completely, and your shimmering glitter Easter eggs are ready!
Enjoy them at your Easter breakfast or brunch!
