Pancake Sushi Recipe for Kids

You'll need the following ingredients:

For the dough:

  • 2 eggs
  • 280 ml milk
  • 160 g spelt flour

For the filling:

  • 1 jar of Alete apple-mango with spelt
  • 150 g cream cheese
  • Fruit of your choice

And also the following baking supplies:

  • Mixing bowl and whisk
  • Hand blender
  • Skillet

Here's how it works:

Mix together the ingredients for the pancake batter and cook them in a pan with a little oil to make small, thin pancakes. Tip: The thinner the pancakes, the easier it is to roll the “sushi” at the end! Next, use a hand blender to mix our apple-mango with spelt in a jar with the cream cheese to make a creamy, fruity sauce.
Now it’s time to assemble! Your kids can really help out here! Spread about one to two teaspoons of sauce on a pancake and top with fruit of your choice. Roll the pancake around the fruit and cut into rolls about 2 cm thick.

Enjoy!

… and here you can see how it’s done ;-)
